Floop is an excellent feedback collecting tool I learned about from this post by Jennifer Gonzalez. I have been experimenting with it for sometime now and found it really amazing. This is a tool built by a team of educators to enhance the way teachers and students use feedback in their class. Floop is web based tool meaning that no download or installation are required. You do, however, need to sign up and create a class. Once created yo can then enroll your students via one of these three ways: generated class code, bulk enroll by uploading a .csv file, or by syncing with – Schoology.
In your class you can share assignments with students and they can submit their work in various formats including as an image, PDF, or a document from Google Docs, Slides, or Sheets. You will be notified of who has submitted what. You can then add your timely feedback as comments. Students will instantly get notified of the feedback and they can access and respond to it. Based on this feedback you can you can start conversation threads with them and engage them in meaningful discussions around their assignments. Students can also peer review each other’s work and share their feedback.
The free version of Floop offers up to 10 assignments per teacher. Watch the video below to learn more about how Floop works.
